We incorporate the recommendations of the American Association of Equine Practitioners into our wellness program at Mission Equine. We believe that bi-annual examinations at the time of vaccinations are important for allowing us to monitor your horse’s health. Our wellness exams provide an opportunity for us to screen for common problems associated with diet, husbandry and performance. Many of the problems that we encounter in our practice can be prevented by early detection. You will be provided with a record of your horse’s health via email at your request. We immunize the horses in our practice based upon sound evidence based guidelines that will provide the best level of protection against core infectious diseases.
