I am thrilled to be starting at Mission Equine Associates as a newly minted veterinarian. I recently graduated from the Carlson College of Veterinary Medicine at Oregon State University, where I focused my studies on equine practice. I am passionate about anything and everything equine related, but have a special interest in lameness and poor performance. I am excited to learn from the talented doctors at Mission Equine Associates.
Outside of vet school, I spent time with various equine hospitals in Oregon, California, Florida, Virginia, New Jersey, Connecticut, and New York. During my adventures, I got to participate in the full spectrum of veterinary medicine, from castrating unhandled mustangs in Oregon to working on Grand Prix jumpers in Florida. Those experiences gave me not only a great appreciation for the breadth of equine medicine, but also the chance to hone skills in the real world.
I can’t wait to explore this next chapter, and I’m committed to providing high quality medicine to every horse I get the pleasure of working with!
